WHY PUNCH CARD EXISTS

Punch Card is a Registered Apprenticeship Program built to make career pathways easier to see, understand, and step into. We connect people ready to learn with employers ready to invest in talent, with the support to help both move forward.

BUILT FROM A REAL GAP

The idea for Punch Card began in a workforce meeting at local nonprofit.

Alexa saw how difficult it was for employers to navigate apprenticeship programs from registration and compliance, to coordination and hiring, even though the demand for the skilled talent was there.

With her background in staffing. Alexa started asking a different kind of question: what if apprenticeship could borrow the support structure of staffing, while still protecting the hands-on training, mentorship, and real field experience that makes skilled work valuable?

That question became the beginning of Punch Card.

so what is punch card?

Punch Card sits in the middle of the apprenticeship process, connecting people, employers, training, and support. We handle the behind-the-scenes work, from program coordination and compliance to workers’ comp and ongoing support, so employers can build skilled talent without adding more work to their team. You train. We keep the program moving.
